Grassroots Doula and Sleep Care 2.17

After my second birth, I was very happy with my care, however, I felt as though something was missing. I realized then what I had wanted was a Doula.

I then became aware of how valuable the role of a Doula is. I am not medically trained, however, I am a trained birth professional. Sometimes what a mother needs is a gentle touch, a kind word, a calm space holder.

Doula's have been proven to reduce the time of labor, the amount of medical interventions needed, and provide an overall calmer birth experience.

I support the family before the birth, during the course of the labor and afterwards. I support all types of birth. Home, hospital, natural, epidural, VBAC, C-section. Whichever way a woman decides to give birth is an amazing experience.

My hope is that I can help empower women with their choices and to provide them with as much information as I can in regards to their choices.
My goal is for women to know all of their options and resources and to have a positive birth expierence.
