Holistic nutrition sees the body as a whole entity, not a machine made up of removable parts. We treat our bodies badly by eating a poor diet and living stressful, sedentary and toxic lives.

We depend on an increasingly burdened medical system to keep us healthy. This system is itself dependent on the pharmaceutical industry, which can be a lifesaver -- but taking its products as directed can also create a cascade of medical problems. Big Pharma, like Big Food, has obligations to profit its shareholders and works hard to keep the public ignorant of the harm its products do to those who consume them.

To keep our bodies working properly we must treat them well: optimizing nutrition and paying attention to lifestyle choices. We need to understand the mental and physical effects of our diet, lifestyle and pharmaceuticals.

Once those areas are corrected, our bodies will be ready to return look after themselves, as they were designed to do. My services include nutritional/lifestyle assessment and recommendations, menu planning and cooking demonstrations.

I am particularly interested in helping people recently diagnosed with food-related conditions who need advice on dietary changes to optimize health - and eat food they really enjoy!
