From Farm to Fork Coop was created by a group of dedicated Volunteers whose passion for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables inspired them to create a Co-op. Our Co-op is specifically designed for families that want to eat healthy, without the high retail costs generally associated with a healthier diet.

We are 100% member run (Volunteers) Join and become apart of a Co-op that gives back to the community. Over the last year we have donated $6000 worth of fresh produce to families in need.

Members say the best part of being apart of the Co-op is the unexpected surprise in your box each pickup!

Whole Sale Prices:
Because we buy in such large quantities we pay wholesale prices that are not available to individuals.
In 2015 we started ordering direct from food manufactures. When you order a share you will be emailed a list of extra items that you can order at wholesale prices.

Volunteers:
This program is run by dedicated volunteers, who sort & pack fresh items for families who have taken part by purchasing a share.

How often can I order?
We have a vegetable pickup once per month
Presently we have 300+ families that buy a share each month. Some families buy every month & others every second month.

How much is a Vegetable Share
$72
The box average weight is 55+ pounds
18-22 items
Many of our families find a friend to split the box with

Local Farmers:
During the Spring & Summer months the majority of our Vegetables are from local farmers on Vancouver Island.

Assortment of items:
When you belong to a food Co-op and purchase a share it is very important to be willing to try NEW vegetables & fruits that you necessarily would not normally purchase.

Meal Planning:
Meal planning is key & takes some time. This is key to using up all of your produce. So that nothing goes to waste.

Food Standards:
There are different classifications of produce. It's important to understand that when you purchase produce from the store all of the apples have been checked for you.
When you purchase a share you might get an apple with a bruise on it. We do not throw out items unless they are rotten & moldy. Just because it is not perfect does not mean it cannot be used in a pie, juiced or cleaned up.
This is part of our 0 waste initiative.

Payments:
Email Money Transfer
Website Store(please note: the price is more due to the fees to use this service)

Pickup Times:
You will be provided with a pickup time. This is to prevent line ups. The majority of our families have children & we understand how hard it is to get kids to wait in a line.

Re-usable bag:
Please bring your own bags to collect your share. Pickup is easy! The volunteers sort & repack the produce & at pickup you come along & pack your bags. If you can bring an extra set of hands or a cart it makes life easier.
