The Fredericton Therapeutic Riding Association is a subset of CANTRA (Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association), which is a registered charity that promotes challenge, achievement and empowerment for children and adults with disabilities through the use of the horse. Horseback riding promotes mobility, coordination and balance for individuals with physical disabilities by promoting muscle toning and strength, as well as helping to improve concentration and improvement of learning skills - and above all the development of self-confidence and motivation!
