Welcome to Fireweed Farm & School! Fireweed is your source for rare and hard to find medicinal plant starts on Southern Vancouver Island. We grow over 250 different types of medicinal herbs, which you can find at our farm shop and growing in our demonstration garden. We have a wide selection of culinary herb starts, bee plants, permaculture plants, native plants, and useful bedding perennials.

Fireweed School offers workshops, intensives, and programs on herbal medicine, wildcrafting, herb growing, and nature-based arts and crafts. The school's unique courses are centred around experiential learning, offering a hands-on approach that engages the student directly with the plants or the subject matter.

Visit us! We are open on Weekends 10-4 April thru September and located at 7159 Wallace Drive in Brentwood Bay BC. You can browse a diverse selection of open-pollinated herb, veggie, and flower seeds by our seed company Ravensong Seeds. All seeds are grown on our farm with ecosystem-friendly and sustainable methods, and adapted to our unique West Coast climate.

At our farm shop you will find beautiful hand-crafted products by Miss Mullein's Herbals, including famous herbal infused honeys, as well as salves, fresh plant tinctures, herbal syrups, infused vinegars and more. All of Miss Mullein's products are created with high-quality herbs grown at Fireweed, or sustainably wildcrafted in the local wilds.

Our herb garden is also open for your enjoyment and exploration, and we welcome you to take a tour of the farm. Spend time with the plants, get ideas for your garden at home, or do some harvesting. We offer in season u-pick or we-pick fresh cut medicinal herbs.

Plus we carry medicine making supplies too. Stop in to pick up bottles, jars, beeswax and more for your herbal medicine making needs.
