BSS Empowered Student Partnerships 2.01

Formerly known as the Safe@School club, Empowered Student Partnerships (ESP) is a club at Bayview Secondary School that promotes a safe learning environment and school spirit.

For many students, high school is a time for great growth, experimentation, and it sometimes does not lead to healthy choices. ESP focuses on raising awareness of issues that are known to negatively affect teenagers.

Topics we discuss include:
- Bullying
- Drinking
- Drugs
- Homelessness
- Hostility between student groups
- Impaired driving
- Violence

ESP is ultimately a student-led partnership with the York Regional Police (YRP) to keep the school safe. Reach out to a club executive anytime to find out how to get involved!
