Dr. Jacqueline Merritt Naturopathic Doctor 2.12

Hello!

My name is Jacqueline, I am a licensed naturopathic doctor, having completed my naturopathic medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON. Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dalhousie University and am currently an active practicing registered nurse with the CRNNS.

I have a general family practice, seeing patients of all ages with a wide variety of health concerns. Using naturopathic medicine’s large toolbox when treating patients, I use modalities such as nutrition, lifestyle counselling, supplementation, botanical medicine, and acupuncture to best address health concerns. In addition to my passion for clinical care, I have a strong interest in continuing education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Outside of busy clinical practice, I really enjoy hiking Nova Scotia’s beautiful trails, walking the shoreline, or sweating it out on my yoga mat. I also love spending time with the important people in my life; family, friends, and my four legged friend, Quince!
