Dr. Ann Grimwood, Naturopathic Physician 2.32

After receiving my naturopathic degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, I moved to Vancouver to expand my skills and competencies as a naturopathic doctor. I completed a two-year clinical residency at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine where I continue to work as a clinical supervisor and part time faculty. While at Boucher, not only am I surrounded by the expertise of some of the most innovative and dedicated clinicians, I am able to combine my love of the medicine with my passion for teaching.

My greatest joy as a naturopathic doctor is watching the transformation of my patients from a state of dis-ease to one of health, vitality and empowerment. I have spent considerable time treating patients who have suffered a variety of conditions from hormonal imbalances and thyroid problems, to diabetes, digestive concerns, and depression/anxiety. My particular areas of focus include:
• Women’s health;
• Autoimmune and chronic illness; and,
• Mental wellness.
Moreover, my scope of practice encompasses Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, clinical nutrition, physical medicine and spinal manipulation, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and minor surgery. As a Naturopathic Physician, I am a proponent of using all modalities combined with evidence-based medicine so as to best address the needs of my patients.

I am a member of both the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Additionally, I am in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. Starting in September, I will be available by appointment on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9am-5pm.
