The emotional, psychological and financial costs of ending a relationship can be out of control. When the wrong process for a family is selected, damage to children creates scars that last a lifetime, finances are drained and future relationships are tenuous at best.

Most people don't realize that they can choose another process, a different path that actually pre-dates lawyers and court. Before written law the Elder, Chief or religious leader would mediate the parties and find a solution that works for everyone. Since then we have created laws, expanded and refined education and provided families with options. Retaining two lawyers, one for each of you, to fight for your rights is very expensive. Coming together to select one mediator to help facilitate communication is smart on so many levels.

As an Accredited Family Mediator I have helped hundreds of couples deal with the issues of their separation from Parenting Plans, that are relevant to their specific and individual families, to Child Support, plus division of assets and debts. I help families find the best solutions to their separation issues. I provide a detailed agenda of items that a lawyer or judge would want to see addressed and then the parties decide what will happen in their lives moving forward.

Since 2000 I have provided a safe and comfortable environment for my clients to begin communicating. I make great use of my Psychology degree in helping them get over the difficult issues just as much as my Master's degree in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Every mediated agreement I create is Fair, Equitable and Wise.
