Collective Architecture + Design Inc. is an architecture studio based in St. John’s, Newfoundland that specializes in custom modern design. The studio was founded by Kelvin Nyathi and Shanna Nyathi, who share a passion for connecting people with good spaces and helping them tell their stories through built form.

We seek to improve upon our built landscape and positively impact human lives through thoughtful design. Our design approach is influenced by a strong modern aesthetic and seeks to express simplicity in form, durability of materials and sensitivity to context and environment. We believe that architecture in its simplest form, creates a place for joyful experience, interaction and belonging.

We see the value of engaging our clients throughout the process and guiding them from concept to completion of their project. Each of our projects ultimately tells a unique story of the people who inhabit them. We want our clients to trust that their space will reflect who they are as people.

Operating throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador Collective Architecture + Design includes project types such as new homes, cottages, summer homes, outbuildings, additions, renovations, and small commercial buildings.
