The branch facilitates access to the resources available to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, and works to build resilience and support recovery of adults living with mental illness through our social programs and initiatives.

CMHA Halifax- Dartmouth is a diverse community working collaboratively to address stigma and the social determinants of health.

We strive to remember there is no "we and they". We are all on a mental health continuum.

CMHA's Framework for Support informs our work. The goal has remained the same for 30 years to ensure that people live fulfilling lives in the community.
