Cindy Bekkedam Photography 2.63

Throughout my younger years, I found the will to take some time away
from my science degree to work and travel abroad, and earn my
diploma in photography with honours at the Vancouver Institute of
Media Arts. Coming back home to Ottawa, Canada, after so much
adventuring has only brought me a deeper appreciation for the
cherished moments that I share with those I love.

I have been gifted with the ability to translate emotion into art, whether
it is through painting or photography. So far this gift has given the
incredible privilege of being invited into the lives of extraordinary people,
and I couldn’t be more humbled by it. I hope to continue building on this
path that for me is driven by raw emotion, the little details, and simply the
essence of being human. Whether it is your wedding day, your family, a
lifestyle project or a travel essay, I will pour in nothing less than my
heart and soul.
