Christ the Redeemer 1.47

Christ the Redeemer was formed in 1996 when Christ in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and redeemer in Westmount merged. We are members of the Montreal Ministry Area, of the Eastern Synod, of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Lutherans are a small group in Canada, but form the largest Protestant denomination in the world with 70,000,000 members. Our history can be traced to 16th century Germany, and the work of Martin Luther, whose attempts to reform the Romans Catholic Church were rejected.

Our small congregation is composed of people from around the world who have made the West Island their home. We worship and work primarily in English.
