24 Hour Sexual Assault Crisis Line (1-866-956-1099): This is a confidential, anonymous service, answered by specifically-trained volunteers, who provide information, support and referrals. Questions or concerns regarding recent or historic sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking/criminal harassment or child sexual abuse are addressed through this line. Medical assistance [Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)]: CASASC staff (SART Members) are on call 24 hours/day to provide accompaniment at the hospital for victims of recent assaults. If individuals prefer, staff can also provide accompaniment and support to their family doctor or the Teen/Young Adult Sexual Health Clinic.

Sexual Assault Response Team (SART): The members of this team are all specifically trained to respond to calls from the Red Deer Regional Hospital Emergency Department. When someone is admitted that has been sexually assault the ER team calls in a SART member to be with and provide support to the victim.

Police assistance: CASASC staff can facilitate and provide accompaniment to police for those individuals wishing to make a report. There is no statute of limitations on sexual assault; that is, a police report can be made regardless of the length of time since the assault occurred.

Crisis and Short Term Counselling: Highly trained and experienced counselors provide one on one counselling to clients who have experienced sexual assault / sexual abuse. This service is very individualized and is specific to the needs of the individual and is provided out of the CASASC office, free of charge, no referral necessary. Sexual Assault Therapy / Counseling for Children: CASASC is very fortunate to have a Therapist on staff that is trained to work with children and their families. Please call 403-240-1124 for more information and to book an appointment.

Court Support: For those involved in the court process, staff is available to assist with information, preparation and accompaniment throughout the court proceedings.
Education: A key goal of the CASASC Education Program is to raise public awareness of the prevalence of sexual harassment and sexual assault in our society while encouraging a sense of community responsibility. Our presentations provide instruction, information and support with a focus on prevention. We deliver our programs to audiences from age 4 to 94. The crime of sexual assault has no boundaries.
