Canadian Beef Sires is a facility dedicated to promoting the advancement of Canadian cattle genetics domestically & internationally. We have semen approved for the United States, Australia, China and here in Canada.

The company's premise is to support Canadian cattlemen by promoting high quality semen for use in artificial insemination & embryo transfer programs both at home & abroad.

Unlike many collection companies, Canadian Beef Sires does not own bulls, as a result our clients can be assured that no conflict of interest exists.

Cattle arrive at the facility in groups, which subsequently, undergo quarantine testing to satisfy the requirements of the various countries clients are interested in exporting to.

The use of this "all-in, all-out" program helps ensure that disease prevention is improved.

The staff at Canadian Beef Sires strive to create the very best product in the market place.

Semen is frozen in small batches of 1000 straws or less so that the variability on quality between straws in a batch is reduced.

Canadian Beef Sires also strive to ensure a minimum of 30 million cells are produced in each straw & that post thaw motility meets international export standards.

This ensures the end user will have a very viable product chute side to create successful outcomes.

This is particularly important in the beef industry, where often, chute side conditions are not as ideal as the inside of a dairy barn.
