Family Resource Centres are FREE of charge and are offered in child-friendly, safe, and stimulating environments. Each playroom has a variety of centres such as sandbox, crafts, housekeeping, books and blocks. Playgroups are offered on a drop-in basis.
Brighter Futures also runs Healthy Baby Clubs in nine sites in the St. John's district. Healthy Baby Club is a flexible, continuous-entry program that provides support, nurturing and guidance to pregnant mothers who are at risk of having low birth-weight babies. The Healthy Baby Club program is offered in partnership with Eastern Health. For more information or to make a referral, call 739-8096.
