Ron Bartel founded Bartel Machine in Leamington in 1983, after a successful decade as a tool and die maker in Windsor. His initial mission was to provide machine shop services for the local automotive manufacturing and agricultural industries.
We’ve steadily grown and evolved over the past 30 years into a full service mechanical engineering and manufacturing boutique, thanks to countless trusting and dedicated suppliers and clients.
Whether you’re an individual with a vision, or part of a small company or large corporation with a clever idea or industrial challenge, we will come alongside you or your department and help develop these ideas into efficient realities. We currently own and occupy a 7000 square foot facility in Leamington, ON, comprised of engineering offices,
machine shop, assembly/testing area, and a fabrication bay.

In September 2014, construction started on our expansion plans. We are creating new shop space for machine and system assembly, testing, and diagnosis, as well as new design offices and meeting rooms, and re-organizing our current machining facilities to improve our process flow. Our exterior facade will also be updated to better represent who we are and what we do.
