Barrie Curling Club 3.87

The Barrie Curling Club is a not-for profit 7-sheet facility at 175 Essa Road in Barrie, Ontario. The club schedules 40 hours of curling per week between 15 leagues from Monday to Friday and Sunday. In addition the club organizes 10 bonspiels, primarily on Saturdays but also over weekends.

The ice is consistently rented to local business and residents who organize daytime curling outings to full weekend bonspiels. In addition the club has a lounge, restaurant, boardroom and large main level area available for rental by residents and businesses. In the summer the ice surface is a concrete floor that can have several purposes. For example, in 2013, the Barrie Curling Club hosted the South Simcoe Rebel Rollers (roller derby league) to over 300 spectators on three occasions.
