The mandate of the Bancroft & District Chamber of Commerce is to promote and develop Bancroft & District as a great place to live, work and visit. The Chamber exists to enrich the quality of the economic and civic well being of its membership, business at large and the community as a whole.
Both residents and visitors can take time to peacefully reflect and connect with nature or experience something exciting and awe inspiring. Bancroft & District offers fishing, boating, golfing, hiking, ATVing, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. This area is home to many artists and artisans, offers live theatre and rare shopping opportunities to delight and entertain. There are scenic drives, mineral collecting sites and field trips and many community events.
