My name is Jessica. I have four children of my own and my step-daughter makes five.

Since a very young age I have been fascinated with pregnancy, birth and babies. The first newborn baby I cared for was when I was 11 years old, and have continued to help friends and family with the adjustments to having a new baby ever since.

For the past 6 years I have been working as a mental health worker in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. When my sister asked me to be at her birth I decided it was time to pursue my true passion of working with expecting and new parents. I completed the DONA Birth Doula training course and have been working as a doula ever since.

My goal is to provide women and their families with the best birth and new baby experience possible. This is a time of great change and challenges and I aim to provide knowledge and support through this period of transitions - something I never felt I had with the birth of my four children.
