Aquatic Growers is a year round vegetable producer servicing Muskoka and northern Simcoe County. Through our small farm operation we are able deliver aquaponically grown vegetables and leafy greens to our individual clients while attaining exemplary customer service and extremely high quality produce. While our clients receive what we feel is the best tasting produce around with unsurpassed shelf life, most clients receive their order of produce delivered for FREE to their home or business within 24 hours of harvesting.

In becoming a client of Aquatic Growers you receive local, fresh, year round produce that has never been sprayed with chemicals, EVER. We feel we grow “better than organic” produce. Year round growing in our location requires some seasonal planning and therefore we grow different varieties of produce during each season. During winter months we focus on multiple lettuce varieties, salad greens and cool weather crops while during the summer, most produce must be heat tolerant and therefore we grow zucchini, tomatoes, beans and vegetables that produce a fruit.

The only step needed to become a client of Aquatic Growers is to send us a text or email stating “Please add me to your weekly produce mailing list”. Afterward you will receive correspondence from us and will be added to our weekly TEXTED produce list. This is our fastest and most reliable method of communicating each weeks produce to you.

Here’s how it works. Each week our clients receive a text from us indicating which vegetables or greens are for sale and which delivery days are for each region. After receiving the text, it is each client’s responsibility to correspond, informing us if they desire produce that week and which delivery day is best. That’s it, the rest is up to us. The produce is delivered (as indicated through our texts) chilled, bagged and if needed, protected from the weather if delivery occurs outside of a desirable time. There are no minimum orders, mandatory weekly purchases or up front service fees. Only purchase your produce when you desire it. We are also able to fill custom orders of specialty produce if requested.

Payments can be made in cash, cheque or e-transfer and are accepted upon delivery or with a prearranged payment. Many current clients pay as they order and others pay in a lump sum and we subtract each order from their deposit. (pre-payment must be made if the produce is to be delivered to a vacant location)
