Agnès has worked in Toronto as a Therapist, Developmental Counsellor, Consultant, Program Coordinator and Supervisor since 1998. She holds a Specialized B.A. in Psychology (York University) where she focused on developmental psychology, and a Master's degree in Social Work (University of Toronto) where she focused on family and child therapy and parenting issues. She has also completed an externship in play therapy. She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers, the Ontario Association of Social Workers and past member of Play Therapy International.
Agnès uses a wide range of approaches tailored to the child and family such as play therapy, behavioural therapy, art therapy, narrative, solution focused, mindfulness and attachment approaches. She also specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression in children, difficulty with transition, behavioural issues, special needs, parent-child relationships, adoption and separation issues. Agnès is also a presenter, trainer and supervisor. She has presented workshops on child development, attachment, positive behavioural support and stress in children. She has trained and supervised Developmental Therapists and Child Care Consultants. She has presented her work at the Canadian annual Infant Mental Health conference: Expanding Horizons for the Early Years.
