I lived in the country for a few years and fell in love with it. I had goats, pigs, chickens, a duck, a couple turkeys and a few guineas.

Life sometimes throws you a curve ball and so now I live in an urban setting. There's several fruit trees, some large mature birch and spruce, and so many flowers! :) <3

Living in town is a lot different than being in the country. But I'll be carving and creating my little slice of heaven here with my two dogs, two cats and my house chicken! (I didn't totally give up on "farming"). Urban homesteading will look a wee bit different than forest homesteading and that's ok. A beautiful life is created and earned and it takes a lot of hard work. I hope to create a life that makes my children proud to call me mom. :)
