More about Judy's yoga background:

Judy first discovered her passion for Yoga at age 18, and loved how it enabled her to clear her mind and focus as well as loving the physical challenge of some of the postures. After 2 years of weekly Sivananda based classes offered at her college in Montreal, Judy continued with a home based practice, as yoga studios, at the time were not accessible to most people outside of an ashram.

As her career began to grow, yoga gradually faded from her everyday.

It was several years before her practice picked up again and she never looked back. Over the years, working in the corporate world, she practiced many different types of yoga to help with the stress and demands of her senior position in the world of advertising.

In addition, she dealt with chronic and sometimes excruciating spinal and soft tissue issues which were exacerbated by stress. By practicing 3-4 days a week, trips to the Chiropractor went from 3 times a week to 3 times a year.

In early 2009, after some big personal and professional challenges, she made the commitment to enter a Hatha Vinyasa 4 month intense teacher training program and graduated in June 2009 and began teaching immediately. “Yoga saved my life and also changed my life – I could not go back to who I was before the teacher training, no matter how hard I tried. I pretty well did a 180 in my life and have never looked back"
