The doctors in our clinic belong to the lineage
of Fei Jing Zuo Qi ("make the Qi fly"), which is
one of the four major lineages of acupuncture
in Taiwan. It was passed down from our
master 　Yang Zhai Xiu, who was the most
favored disciple of the emperor's royal doctor
in the Qing Dynasty. Compared to other
contemporary acupuncture practices, our
acupuncture uses drastically different needling
techniques. As a result, our acupuncture is called
"Classical Acupuncture". Specifically, classical
acupuncture stresses on De Qi ("Qi attainment")
and Balancing of Yin & Yang
("Balancing of Nutritional Qi and Defending Qi ").
Classical acupuncture produces

Coming from a background that encompasses both medical
school training and master-and-disciple way of learning,
Dr. Eric Huang exceeds the expectations most people have
for a TCM doctor his age. While his TCM practicing family
has endowed him with a special sensitivity in using TCM
techniques to aid patients in their recovery, his medical school
training at Guangzhou University of TCM has also provided him
with a good grasp in Western medicine to understand and
diagnose pathologies. This sets him apart from most TCM
practitioners who have to rely on one kind of knowledge
(master-and-disciple TCM teachings or medical school trainings).
This double perspective has helped Dr. Eric Huang tremendously
in his clinical practices for over 10 years. He specializes in internal
medicine, immunological disorders, chronic and acute pain
management, as well as other general health conditions.
Dr. Eric Huang also has ample clinical experiences in slimming
and weight-loss using acupuncture techniques. This is especially
effective in targeting problem areas such as the abdomen.
