Our house is unique with spacious lounge areas, interior gardens, fireplace, barbecue area, library and music hall with piano, guitar, retro radios, vinyl discs. Every space is planned for our guests to feel at home, be curious and enjoy every minute of their stay in the island.

We are perfectly located in the center of Lagoa da Conceição (the lagoon) next to the main square where pubs and restaurants are and where local events take place. The best spots for kitesurfing, stand up paddling, trekking, sandboarding, and going on boat trips are maximum 5 minutes walking. We are near the trendiest beaches in town Praia Mole and Joaquina, and buses/boats to all hidden beaches in the island are just nearby.

We not only offer brand new beds, tasty breakfast and clean toilets, we also emphasize the use of comfortable communal areas to get people together and have fun! We have travelled more than 40 countries staying in hostels, so we really know what travelers look for.

We speak English, French, Spanish, Russian, Czech; and learning Esperanto. But we are more specialized in Brazilian culture, so you can expect to experience the best of Brazilian cuisine, drinks, films, music, sports, flowers, arts and photography at the Vintage Hostel.
