Castelo Furlani 4.09

O engenheiro Fausto Furlani chegou a Pederneiras em 1901 e, em 1903, adquiriu um terreno na região norte da cidade onde formou uma chácara e construiu sua residência que, em 1908, foi ampliada para acolher toda a família. Em 1911, seu pai Leonardo e seus irmaos Amadeu, Giovani e Valério decidiram construir o castelo. A construção foi concluída em 1914.

Hoje o Castelo pertence aos herdeiros de Marino Furlani, falecido em fevereiro de 2011.

O castelo é propriedade privada e não está aberto a visitação.

The engineer Fausto Furlani arrived in Pederneiras, SP, Brazil in 1901, and in 1903 bough lands on the north of the town, where he built his house, which was enlarged in 1908 to accommodate his whole family. In 1911, his father Leonardo and his brothers Amadeu, Giovani and Valerio decided to build the castle. The construction ended in 1914.

Today, the Furlani Castle is owned by the heirs of Marino Furlani (1925-2011). The Castle is private property and it is not open to visitors.
