Dalal Al Sindi
M. A. in Art Therapy
B.A. in Fine Arts

Certified Bahraini Art Therapist Dalal Al Sindi practices a new form of therapy that specializes in visual expression, imagery and the creative process.

Trained in the UK, Dalal practiced Art Therapy at The King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, working at The Rehabilitation Hospital with patients suffering from a range of mental and psychological issues, varying from stroke, traumatic brain injury, cancer, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, anorexia, PTSD, schizophrenia and most of all depression.

Dalal’s unique form of art therapy results in the understanding and healing of a person’s mind via creative self-expression. By using the very personal medium of art, Dalal works with individuals and groups to help identify hidden issues and then develop a plan for healing and rehabilitation.

By analyzing and discussing your use of shapes, colors, symbols, creative inspiration and processes, Dalal helps you gain a deeper understanding of your subconscious and psyche as well as your emotional and psychological construct.

Dalal Al Sindi is working with the newly-opened Art Therapy Center in East Riffa (OFFICE 1, BLDG 750A, ROAD 3527, BLOCK 935, EAST RIFFA) hosting several types of Art Therapy workshops, Art Therapy Groups and Art Therapy individual treatment sessions.

Born and raised in The Kingdom of Bahrain, Dalal Al Sindi offers an international approach to therapy tempered with a local understanding and appreciation of Bahrain’s culture and people. Dalal encourages spontaneous expressions of art and specializes in the understanding of the artistic process. “I believe that everyone is an artist and everyone is capable of tapping into their imagination to gain better self-awareness and appreciation.”
