Our journey began in 1956, a little over 50 years when HAMZA HAJEE started his restaurant leading to the birth of hotel parivar in 1972. The restaurant flourished enormously paving the way for sagar restaurants in 1978.

Sagar is the pioneer in bringing out the traditional cuisine of the malabar coast from the household kitchens and introducing it in to the restaurant business

As calicut's first multi cuisine restaurant, Sagar serves various delicacies for the quaint and ancient town. Sagar offers Malabar, South and North Indian fare with generous variety of chinese as well.

Hamza Hajee's legacy of being a simple man with simple value and his sense of hospitality has propelled sagar to the forefront as the purveyor of choice to all guests.
