The British School of Bahrain is a selective, coeducational, independent kindergarten-through-Year 13 school for students between the ages of 3 and 18. The school comprises three sections: the Infants provides for children in Key stage 1, from 3–6 years old; the Juniors for children in Key stage 2, from 7–10 years old, and the Senior School for children from 11–18 years old.CurriculumThe school follows the National Curriculum of the United Kingdom. The taught academic curriculum forms an important part of the whole school curriculum and the British School of Bahrain follows the National Curriculum of the United Kingdom, with some adaptations to reflect the local historical, cultural and physical features of Bahrain.School HousesThere are four houses in the BSB to which children are allocated at admission. These houses help foster school spirit and the sense of belonging to a vertical grouping throughout the school from KG to Year 13.The houses are represented by colours and mythical creatures which are: Dragon - Blue Griffin - Red Pegasus - Yellow Phoenix - GreenStudentsOn average, there are over 70 nationalities are represented each year at BSB. 32% of the student body are at the Infant level, 34% are at the Junior level, and 34% are at the Senior level.
