River Jam 1.53

After coming home from one of my travels a few years back, I wanted to pursue the travelspirit at home. Growing up in Ghent, I sometimes forgot how beautiful it actually is. I set out to explore my own city again!

I tried to look at Ghent as a traveller, who stumbled upon its beauty for the first time. While it made me fall in love with Ghent even more, it never quite fulfilled that void of not being able to travel.

Until one day I decided to take out the inflatable boat that had been collecting dust in my dads cellar. I ended up floating through Ghent for a couple of hours, from a sunny day, into a magical, dimly lit, night.

After that day, I've been taking out the boat regularly, often taking friends or travelers with.

A few years later, after getting a lot of positive feedback, I decided to start River Jam in 2017 to share this magical experience with the world.
