BUDO HOUSE est une entreprise familiale fondée en 1978 par José Polet, Yao Boen Hie et Gaston Yu Yuk Tung.

Ne se contentant pas de devenir la référence en tant que fournisseurs d’équipements, BUDO HOUSE organisa directement ou en association une multitude d’événements et manifestations sportives avec l’aide de nombreux experts en arts martiaux.



Citons les fameuses journées des arts martiaux commencée en 1982, pour atteindre une dizaine d’ editions au total avec la participation du gratin des arts martiaux en Belgique, devant un public oscillant entre 1000 et 1500 personnes à chaque éditions.

Nous ne saurions citer ici toutes les manifestations et compétitions que BUDO HOUSE

a sponsorisé mais l’on peut quand même évoquer une dizaine d’open internationaux de Taekwondo, ainsi que les Open de Bruxelles toujours en taekwondo.

Le tournoi international du Crossing de Schaerbeek, l’open de visé en Judo, l’open féminin d’Arlon..

Les stages annuels de Namur et de Gand en Shotokan karate.

Le stage de Wégimont en Aikido.

Il faut rajouter que depuis 1995, BUDO HOUSE est sponsor officiel de la ligue francophone de Judo.

BUDO HOUSE à aussi étendu ses ailes jusqu’en France, avec France Budo à Amiens, Picardie et plus proche de nous à Alost et le Flanders Budo Shop, mais le succes ne fut pas au rendez vous.

Dès lors, les forces de BUDO HOUSE sont concentrées à la maison mère…







Mission

BUDO HOUSE continue aujourd’hui sa mission de toujours, soutenir et encourager le devellopements de la pratique des arts martiaux et sports de combats en Belgique et dans le monde, principalement en fournissant du materiel de premiere qualité au meilleur prix, mais aussi en soutenant sur le terrain les acteurs principaux du monde des arts martiaux et sports de combats, a savoir ; les federations, les professeurs et bien sur, les simples pratiquants…

BUDO HOUSE continues since ever its mission to support and encourage the development of the practice of martial arts and fighting sports in Belgium and in the world, mainly by providing equipments, books and DVDs, but also by supporting directly the key players in the world of martial arts and fighting sports, namely, the federations, teachers and, of course, the practitioner.

It is not enough just to be the reference as provider of top quality at the best price. BUDO HOUSE organizes directly or in collaboration a multitude of events and sporting events with the help of many experts in martial arts.

They became very famous, these Martial Arts Days, starting in 1982 and reaching a dozen editions presenting the cream of the cream in martial arts in Belgium, reaching an audience between 1000 and 1500 people each year.

The Belgian All Style Championships at the d'Etterbeek Sports Centre with a generation of great fighters: Taelman, Girardi, the brothers D'addario, Osman, Janssens, the brothers Bernhard, Kaliskan, Aziz El Miri, the brothers El Aoued, Francois Toussaint , Dominica Niesette, Ramazan, Ben Ali, Charlie Mutambaye, Hughes Crêvecoeur, Biskos, Mario D'Hooker, Karel and Guy Para.

The World Championships kick boxing at Halles de Schaerbeek in 1985 with amongst others Ernesto Hoost, was also sponsored by Budo House.

Sensei '89 at the Cirque Royal was co organized by Budo House and Etienne Thon.
