Its one of the best places in Dhaka undoubtedly. Many many famous persons lived here in Tikatuli like Shere Bangla Fazlul Huq , his son A K M Fayezul Huq, Humayun Shaheb , Akhtaruz Zaman Illyas, Shawkat Ali, Badruddin Omar, Freedom Fighters Jewel, Khokon, Ahrar Ahmad , Ex- Secretary Ahbab Ahmad, Child Specialist Dr. Qavi and his son Dr. Qavi jr, Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, Actress Shuchonda, Babita, Champa, Captain Roksana and not to mention many more. Besides there is the famous rose garden, Kamrunnesa girls high school, Bholagiri Asram , Eden press was also situated in Tikatuli .
