SAWASDEE @ The 8 - Thai Restaurant

The 8 is very glad to introduce to you our new Thai menu ‘Sawasdee’ by Chef Luam.

In our search for a new executive Chef for The 8, we unearthed a real treasure: The founding Chef of the original Sawasdee restaurant, the first Thai restaurant and perhaps the most iconic restaurant in Dhaka in the 90’s.

In order to accommodate this cuisine, we have reverted to family style serving portions. The individually plated dishes of our original menu can still be found under the Chef’s Specials. Chef Luam will also be updating these items from time to time, in keeping with our tradition of changing the Menu seasonally.

As always, we will be focusing on fresh, organic , locally procured items whenever possible, to preserve the quality of the food.

One of the hidden jewels of Dhaka, with 2000 sft of indoor space, and over 1000 sft of open air terrace, this venue is flexible enough for almost any kind of event: from small, intimate al fresco dinner parties, exhibitions to official seminars.

The Nest offers variety of buffet menus ranging from BDT 700++ to BDT 2500++, as well as an endless degree of customization as required by their guests.
