Introduction
Organ donation is a heavenly feeling. Because becoming an organ donor, one person can save the lives of up to eight people. There are in Holy Quran, “Whosoever saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind.” By saving a man's life, not just her, her family is protected from trouble.
“Muktomona Foundation” is such a foundation that wants to stand beside the helpless people who are in lame problem in different organ.
At first we have to know, what is organ donation? Organ donation is a gift of one’s body parts after death for the purpose of transplantation. The transplantation process is an operation which involves the replacement of diseased and defective organs and tissues with healthy one from donors.
Description
Organ donation is such a gift which people can bring back from the jaws of death, if God want. Organ donation also can be defined as the ultimate humanitarian act of charity. The commonly donated organs are kidney, heart, liver, lungs and pancreas while the tissues are eyes, bones, heart valves and skin. But In this modern day, not many people who is willing to donate their organs after they die. Furthermore, public also do not know the importance of organ donation.
What Can You Donate?
A donation can help someone when their organs are not working properly and they need a transplant.
Organ Situation and Transplantation in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh there are many people are suffer for their organ.
Over half a million people in Bangladesh are blind from cataract and the country has one of the highest reported rates of untreated cataract in the world. Due to extreme poverty and a lack of awareness that cataract blindness is preventable and treatable, many people unnecessarily become and remain blind.
According to the latest WHO data published in May 2014:
Liver Disease Deaths in Bangladesh reached 20,561 or 2.82% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 19.26 per 100,000 of population ranks Bangladesh #69 in the world.
Lung Disease Deaths in Bangladesh reached 67,735 or 9.30% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 74.27 per 100,000 of population ranks Bangladesh #5 in the world.
Kidney Disease Deaths in Bangladesh reached 25,385 or 3.48% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 24.21 per 100,000 of population ranks Bangladesh #18 in the world.
Bangladeshis are suffering from heart attack when still in their productive age. According to the latest WHO data published in may 2014 Coronary Heart Disease Deaths in Bangladesh reached 50,708 or 6.96% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 53.53 per 100,000 of population ranks Bangladesh #150 in the world.
There are 13 to 15 lakh cancer patients in Bangladesh, with about two lakh patients newly diagnosed with cancer each year. As an overview, lung cancer and mouth-or pharynx cancer rank as the top two prevalent cancers in males. Other types of cancers are oesophagus cancer and stomach cancer.
Though in Bangladesh there are many people are suffer for their organ but they have no knowledge about organ transplantation. Because until now there is no organ donation agency in Bangladesh. There is no better equipment for organ transplant of
any government hospital in the country and they do not have any capacity for organ storage. Moreover, there is no special transport in the state of emergency to reach the organ from place to place.
In Bangladesh, the trade in internal organs is big business. Each year, hundreds put their body parts up for sale in the underground organ bazaar hoping to escape the clutches of poverty, only to be short changed by brokers or burdened with chronic health problems, according to police officials and residents. But unfortunately, it is true that some of the reputed hospitals and doctors are associated with this.

Organ Situation and Transplantation in World
Organ transplantation is an effective therapy for end-stage organ failure and is widely practiced around the world. According to WHO, kidney transplants are carried out in 91 countries. Around 66 000 kidney transplants, 21 000 liver transplants and 6000 heart transplants.
Each day, an average of 79 people receives organ transplants. However, an average of 22 people dies.

Organ Shortage in world
The problem now is that there aren’t enough organs to meet the demand. In early 2011, more than 110,000 people were on the nationwide waiting list for an organ. An average of nearly 20 of them dies each day while waiting. Each day, an average of 79 people receives organ transplants. However, an average of 22 people dies each day waiting for transplants that can't take place because of the shortage of donated organs.
Why organ donation?
Each person has the right to survival nicely on this beautiful earth. Unfortunately few people born with physical problem, otherwise they face different kind of organ disease. Imagine that who can’t see this beautiful earth and think about them who are waiting for death every moment. Our tiny sacrifice can save their lives and appear some happiness in their family.
We know our organ will be destroyed after our death. After our death they do not need any of us. So if we donated our organs after our death it will be help those people who are desperately in need of a transplant. Because of that transplantation they may be able to see the world and be able to survive a few days more.

Facts about organ donation
Only important medical information, such as severity of your illness, time spent waiting, blood type, and other medical criteria are important for receiving an organ offer.
Anyone can become an organ donor, no matter how old you are. Your medical condition at the time of death will determine what organs and tissue can be donated.
All major religions approve of organ and tissue donation and consider it an act of charity.
Organs and tissues that can be donated include: heart, kidneys, lungs, pancreas, liver, intestines, corneas, skin, tendons, bone, and heart valves.


Organisational Systems and Organ Transplantation
The organizational structure is key in the organ donation/transplantation systems. There is a need for a well organized and effective transplant system. This system needs an appropriate legal framework, a good technical approach and organizational support. Assuming that the main obstacle to the full development of transplant programmes is the shortage of organs, it has also been recognized that part of the problem is not only the lack of donors, but the failure of the system to transform potential donors into actual donors.
The world is facing a severe shortage of human organs. Despite numerous local and national educational campaigns and media promotions, the number of cadaveric donors has not increased.
Conclusion:
We should donate organs to save life of others. After life our organs can help others to live a decent life. Our eyes can help someone to see the world with our eyes. Our limbs can help- others to live a healthy life. We can make the world prosperous by donating our organs.
We want to make it very clear in the curriculum that registering to be an organ donor is only in the event of their death. We want to mainly clear up the myths and illustrate that being an organ donor is truly a heroic thing. It is important to state how easy it is to register to be an organ donor. They can even register online if they do not wish for their license to state they are a donor. This system can be a single point of access for the donors and administrators. The donors can be registered online just by clicking the mouse button in front of their computer at home and save their time.
