The Department mission is sustainable livelihood for the people of Bangladesh by ensuring higher environmental standards in aspects of wild and fish farming, sustainable fisheries, aquaculture and marine bioscience must stand up to a hard evaluation of any environmental situations of the world.

Laboratory Facilities:

Dept. of FMB has its own laboratory and pond complex to conduct different subject oriented experiments & research. Already enriched with Aquaculture laboratory, Fish biology lab, Histology lab, Fish disease lab, Limnology lab, Fish museum and Brood fish centre and pond complex having more than 25 ponds.
