Department of CSE, BUBT 3.9

The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the significant departments of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). It was established in November 2005. It started its journey with B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) program. In 2007 it starts B.Sc. Engg. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). Both of the programs are offered in day time. In the year 2008 considering the need of higher education for diploma engineers BUBT started these programs in the evening shift.. Currently there are about 700 students studying in Undergraduate Program.
Database Systems, Computer Security, Networking, Image Processing, Computer Graphics etc are the major research areas existing in the department.
All teachers and students can use the broadband Internet facilities; the department uses Multimedia Projector in the classrooms and in laboratories.
