Bhalum Ataur Rahman Khan College is situated at Bhalum of Sanura UP under Dhamrai Upazila in the district of Dhaka of Bangladesh. It stand on the land-property donated by 39 founders of the village Bhalum. Mr. Ataur Rahman, the then Prime Minister of east Pakistan placed the foundation stone of this institution on June 23, 1957, as Bhalum A. R. Khan high school. It rose the sates of a college in 1987. At present, more than thirty thousand students study in this institution. This institution with a graceful natural campus is surrounded by attractive buildings. The river Bangshi flows by the side of this institution. The institution draws the attention of people of all walks of life of this area.
