Function : To promote the craft of pottery in the community by holding workshops, setting aside an area to showcase one members work each month and displaying and selling local work at the club.

Facilities: There is a gas kiln available, at a cost of $12-00 for a bisque firing, $16-00 for a glaze firing. Firings which include the work of several members can be organised. Costs are then divided based on number and size of pieces fired. Members wishing to fire the kiln themselves must have completed three (3) firing lessons. The club owns a raku kiln and organises raku firing days for interested members .

The slab roller, extruder and wheels are for members use free of charge.

Any new member may use these facilities any time the shop is open until they obtain a key. These are available for a $20 refundable deposit after attending three meetings.

The club has an extensive library and books may be borrowed at meetings.

Clay is available for sale at the club ranging from $20-00 a bag.

Lessons are available on the first and third Friidays and the third and fourth Saturdays of the month. Costs are $10-00 plus the cost of clay. Please ring Lyn Cameron 0429313336 or Di Mahony 69229776.

Meetings: Meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month at 10.30 pm followed by a workshop. All members are welcome.

Membership: Open to any member of the public with an interest in pottery, whether they are a practicing potter or not.

Subscriptions: Annual subs are $30-00 and are due in February. The AGM is held on the second Saturday in February at 1.30 pm
