Volunteers for Palliative Care Inc 2.06

Our Non-Government Organisation (NGO) is a registered charity operating in the Maitland Local Government Area (LGA) for 25 years. We provide for free to the Maitland community our services of support to families that have someone living with a life limiting condition or are under palliative care. We have two part time staff that coordinate and manage the service operations of around 30 volunteers. We have a volunteer Board of Governance. We rely heavily on donations to meet the running costs i.e. insurances of our service and these usually come from families who have utilised our service and appreciate it very much.
