Paragraph 1 – The regular servicing of garage doors is essential for the longevity and reliability of your garage door and motor, a part of property maintenance often overlooked. If doors are not regularly serviced your families safety is at risk. Doors that are noisy, opening after you close it, jamming, hitting the ground hard, opening/closing slowly, are doing so because they have not been serviced and are unable to operate efficiently or safely. Garage door and motor manufacturers recommend that garage doors are serviced after 12 months of installation and then every 18-24 months thereafter.
It is important to note that just because your door appears to be running well it does not mean that it is safe. You don’t want to find out the hard way by having the door come down on your head or your car!

Paragraph 2 – We prefer to install B&D garage doors, due to the quality of their doors and after sales service. B&D also offer a 5 year warranty on their Panelift sectional doors, whilst their competitors generally only offer a 12 month warranty. If however, you would prefer to purchase a different brand of door, we will be only happy to supply and install it for you.

Paragraph 3 – We prefer to install Merlin, B&D and ATA garage door motors. The quality of these motors, together with the after sales service, means that if a problem arises, our customers are only minimally inconvenienced. We do however, service and repair other brands of garage door motors.
