Change of date!

So October challenged March to an arm-wrestle. We thought that surely March will win – what with a solid summer of training, sensible nutrition and a well-managed festive season in the lead up. What we didn’t know was that October was tougher than a one eared alley cat. Not only did October win, but did so wearing an un-ironed shirt, 3 days’ facial growth and a glint in the eye that said “I’m just warming up”

Ironically, that’s what will be happening when the 2018 edition of the 12 Hours in the Piney is held in October next year. You see, we’re a ‘looking forward’ kind of club and rather than look back and celebrate the summer that was, we’re going to deliver you to springs doorstep, politely knock, step back and let you enjoy the fruits of the rising sun, the longer days and the child like excitement that abounds when the scent of spring combines with chain lube and stinky gloves.
