TYS & Rubys 1.39

Uniting Communities works with South Australians across metropolitan and regional South Australia, providing support through more than 90 community programs ranging from counselling to homelessness to disability support.

Therapeutic Youth Services (TYS)
Our TYS team provides safe, confidential support for people wanting to work through family or personal issues to improve relationships, mental health and general wellbeing.

Counselling services are available to young people who are aged 12 - 17 who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness and their families.

This program is available from Monday to Friday during office hours throughout the Adelaide metropolitan and lower Limestone Coast regions.

Sexual Abuse Counselling
We provide sexual abuse and sexual assault counselling to young people who are 12 - 25 and have unstable accommodation.

Rubys
Rubys offers a safe place for young people aged between 12 and 17 to stay while they and their families receive counselling and other assistance to address problems at home.

There are four Rubys residences, three in metropolitan Adelaide and one in Mt Gambier. Rubys is a 24 hour service.
