TURBO CAMPS 3.03

Turbo Camps began back in the Summer of 2009 when an opportunity came very last minute at ADANAC CYC. An opening at the campsite presented a fantastic opportunity to reach out to the local Yarra Valley community. All hands were on deck as the interest in the camp went through the roof. The team, while stretched beyond their wildest imaginations quickly put together a very successful camp that had such a positive impact on every single individual involved, both leaders and campers.

Fast forward to today and Turbo has grown from one Summer camp to a total of five camps throughout the year including four Summer camps and a Winter Camp.

Every year there has been a lot of growth, but at the heart remains the same foundations the camp was built upon.

1. SAFE - Turbo camps are open for everyone! We aspire to create a safe environment where everyone, no matter their individual differences, feel welcomed into the Turbo family.

2. FUN - Turbo camps are a lot of fun and we like to make sure they stay that way by providing a program that caters a variety of personal interests!

3. GOD - At the heart of Turbo is its faith based foundations. As Christians, we are passionate about sharing the Good News and giving campers the opportunity to respond to the Good News and learn more about God and His abundant love and grace that He has freely given everyone!

Turbo Camps are just one of the many camp ministries that run through CYC Ministries whose sole aim and purpose is to nurture young people into the Christian faith, leadership & growth.
