Toowong Uniting Church 3.23

Toowong Uniting Church is a Christian church that services the inner Western Suburbs of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia.

Toowong is an energetic, culturally-diverse, socially-mobile suburb. Fifty percent of the inhabitants are between the ages of 18-30. Many are students or visiting academics at the nearby universities: University of Queensland or Queensland University of Technology. Some of Toowong’s population are elderly residents who have lived in the suburb all their lives. This rich and diverse mix is reflected in our congregation. Everyone is welcome!

Located in Sherwood Road, Toowong, the Toowong Uniting Church is a few hundred metres from Toowong Village Shopping Centre and the cafes of Sherwood Road and High Street, within easy walking distance of the Brisbane-Ipswich train line and City Council bus routes.

Here's a list of some of the ways you could connect with us during the week:

- Sundays 9am - a contemporary, family friendly time of teaching and worship, with a children's and youth program during the service

- Sundays 6pm - a night time service for all ages

- Monday 8am - we gather together to pray

- Tuesday at 7pm (fortnightly) - we meet as a "Pastorate" (see the website for more info)

- Throughout the week there is a Friday morning playgroup, Monday morning English Conversation Classes, a monthly Wednesday morning meeting for the "young at heart,", and a variety of social events!
