The X-ray Group 3

The X-ray Group is the only locally owned, private medical imaging practice located on the border.

Our head office - x-ray@thegardens, offers a full range of radiology services. The other three sites including Wodonga X-ray, Lavington X-ray and Wangaratta X-ray have been established to improve patient access and convenience for the entire border community.

x-ray@thegardens provides a comprehensive suite of radiology services including MRI, a Nuclear Medicine lab, a designated Women's Wellness Clinic for Mammograms, Ultrasounds, Bone Densitometry Scans and Biopsies, plus other general radiology services.

We strive to bring the most advanced medical imaging technology to our region. Our Low Dose CT system is one of only four in Australia to use new model-based interactive reconstruction technology to remove noise from images and decrease dose further. Also, our 3T MRI is the only local machine with fully digital D-Stream technology to improve images and decrease scan time.

When The X-Ray Group was formed, it was the first time ever that bulk billing became available for radiology services in the region. Today The X-Ray Group still continues to provide affordable, high quality radiology services for the border community, with only minimal gaps on only a few of its services.
