The Vale (short for Vale of Avoca), is a beautiful historic building, perfect for a weekend getaway, stopover or week-long retreat. Be charmed by the tranquil atmosphere of high ceilings, long corridors, extensive balcony, and period furniture without missing out on the comforts that you expect such as spacious bedrooms, air conditioning, open fires in winter and delicious cooked breakfasts.
Guest accommodation is on the first floor and consists of 8 bedrooms including a family suite and an apartment. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. 4 bathrooms mean that in most cases guests have the use of their own bathroom. Also on the first floor guests have use of a lounge room and utility room and of course the balcony with magnificent views of Charlton and the surrounding district.
Breakfast is served in a lovely breakfast room on the ground floor.
