Michael Johns established The Panel Shop in 1986.

Michael with a passion for Australian Classic and Muscle cars and Amercian Muscle and experience with British classics such as MG, Jaguar and Rolls Royce from his days at Grosser Smash in McCoy St, Myaree, turn his small business working on mates cars into a thriving company.

As the reputation for quality repairs and Paint work grew new larger premises in O'Connor were needed, the work coming out of the shop was awesome, awards for best panel and paint coming in from the Hot Rod show from the All Ford day and The GM Day all growing the reputation of The Panel Shop as one of the premium shops in Perth to take your classic car.

During the recession in the late 80's The Panel Shop moved to smaller premises in Bibra Lake when customers could no longer justify spending money on their classic cars.

A few units and a few years on and the premises now owned by The Panel Shop, still supplying quality Panel and Paint in all aspects of Vehicle Repairs be that Insurance work or Custom and Classic restorations.

All work guaranteed, the man that runs the business owns the business.
