The Craigieburn Unit of the Victoria State Emergency Service accepted guardianship of the Craigieburn War Memorial Stone, by authority of Hume City Council, on 4 February 2008. ANZAC Day Services have been conducted with the support of the SES since that time. The Craigieburn War Memorial and Remembrance Committee was established as an Incoprorated body for the dual purpose of:
Conducting the Annual Craigieburn ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day Services; and
To establish and manage the Craigieburn War Memorial on its permanent site in the new Craigieburn Sports and Recreation Precinct.
100% of donations are directed to these two objectives.
