Sydney Eisteddfod develops and encourages artistic and creative skills in the community. Subject to individual event guidelines, it offers classical and contemporary events for budding artists of all ages and types. First held in 1933 it now attracts some 35,000 entries every year and is widely regarded as the largest and most successful competitive performing arts festival in the world.
